About this equipment
The Lincat Silverlink Eco SGE1 is an electric salamander grill for grilling, warming and browning food in a commercial kitchen. It provides a useful finishing station for restaurants, cafés and catering operations, whether melting cheese over a dish, colouring a gratin or preparing toast alongside other service tasks. Its on-demand cooking approach is particularly useful where orders arrive intermittently. Ready mode and the boost control allow the grill to respond when needed, while the 50% power setting keeps the cavity warm between tasks. Customisable full-power and half-power timers help teams tailor operation to their menu, with a sleep mode for quieter periods rather than maintaining full heat throughout the day. Four shelf positions allow food to be placed at different distances from the heat, giving flexibility when finishing different dishes. Stainless steel construction and glass-covered elements provide accessible surfaces for routine cleaning, and the removable toasting rack and crumb tray are included. Manufactured in October 2024, this example has had light use and is in good used condition, with light surface scratches to the stainless steel casing.
