The Josper HJX-45-L-NC combines charcoal grilling with enclosed oven cooking, making it a useful choice for restaurants, steakhouses and catering kitchens where cooking over charcoal is central to the menu. Fuelled entirely by charcoal, it gives chefs a way to develop distinctive grilled flavour across meat, fish and vegetables within a closed cooking chamber. Different grilling levels allow the kitchen team to vary the position of food relative to the charcoal, while the vent system provides temperature control. The front-opening door gives access to the cooking area during loading and service. With a stated grilling temperature range of 250 to 350°C, this model is suited to high-temperature cooking where browning and chargrilled character are important to the finished dish. The HJX-45 is the medium-sized oven in the Josper range, with a grill rack capacity of two GN 1/1 trays. This format offers useful flexibility for kitchens already working with gastronorm equipment, whether preparing individual dishes or organising batches for service. Purchased new in 2021, this example is in good used condition and comes with one new stainless steel grill rack. There is no cabinet base or stand included, so a suitable support will be needed as part of the installation.
