About this equipment
The Polar G-Series U636-02 combines chilled ingredient storage with a stainless steel preparation worktop, making practical use of space in restaurants, cafés and catering kitchens. At 900mm wide, this two-door counter fridge keeps ingredients close to the working area without taking up the room needed for a separate fridge and prep table. It has a stated capacity of 240 litres, with 160 litres of usable storage. Two adjustable shelves allow the interior to be arranged around different ingredients and containers. The cabinet is also compatible with full-size 1/1 gastronorm pans, useful for kitchens that prepare ingredients in batches and move them between storage and service. GN pans and additional shelves are available separately and are not included. Digital temperature controls and a display provide straightforward adjustment and monitoring, with a temperature range of 2°C to 5°C. Fan-assisted cooling helps restore the cabinet temperature after access, while automatic defrost reduces routine manual defrosting. Stainless steel internal and external finishes make everyday cleaning straightforward, and adjustable feet help with positioning. The specified ambient operating range is 10°C to 32°C. Manufactured in 2023, this example is in great overall condition, with small dents to the door.
